Community Outreach

EHS seeks to participate in outreach opportunities not only on campus, but also in the Lubbock community. We are available to attend resource fairs on and off campus and provide safety information tailored to the need presented by the fair.

We have also worked with local K-12 educators to bring science safety education to area teachers in the form of professional development workshops and educational sessions presented at regional conferences.

As the premier research institute in the Lubbock area, it is part of our community responsibility to assist different groups who may need our expertise. We do work with local city officials to create a safe place to work, learn and live.
