Exploring the science of human, relationship, and family development
The Department of Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) offers a wide range of courses in the areas of early childhood education, human development across the lifespan, interpersonal relationships, and family sciences. Graduates of the department become qualified to pursue a variety of careers in healthcare, social services, education, public policy, public health programs, non-profit agencies, counseling parent and family life education, and/or pursue graduate studies.
