Llano River Field Station
The Llano River Field Station was established as part of TTU Center in Junction in June of 2002 to provide a laboratory and classroom environment for undergraduate and graduate students from numerous universities, institutes, and public schools. The Llano River Field Station encourages and supports research of local watershed and riparian habitats.
Upper Llano River
Watershed Protection Plan
The implementation of the Upper Llano River Watershed Protection Plan is on a 10-year timeframe, focusing on eight different management measures. Each measure has annual implementation milestones, expected funding needs and identified organizations that will guide and carry out each of the plan's recommended actions.

The Texas Society of Mammalogists Held Their 37th Annual MeetingFebuary 8, 2019The meeting was attended by 128 faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students, and other mammalogy professionals from 37 institutions and 9 states.

Facilities
The facilities at the TTU Center at Junction includes traditional classrooms, outdoor classrooms, high-speed internet and WIFI, wet laboratory, large lecture/dining facilities, conference room, pool, covered pavilion, and laundry facilities. The facility also has bird and wildlife observation blinds, hiking trails and 1 mile of South Llano River frontage. Facilities can be rented for workshops, conferences, meetings and retreats.
