About Engineers in Medicine
Engineers in Medicine is one of the proud initiatives of the Whitacre College of Engineering
(WCOE) aiming to bring the engineers and the scientists of TTU-Health Sciences Center
together on health and well-being oriented ideas and projects. Our multidisciplinary
teams collaborate on joint projects, implementing innovative technology to generate
solutions for health-related challenges.
WCOE fosters faculty and students to employ substantial effort on investigating tools and strategies to enhance human life with projects funded by federal and state agencies (NIH, NSF, NASA, CPRIT).
Our research topics include but are not limited to healthcare monitoring, cancer biology, nano and micro scale composites, biomechanics, longevity and point-of-care diagnostics target up-to-date health challenges to uplift the standards of quality of life.
